Good Irish pub . Food in hotel only during winter
Good food nice plesant staff
Food was only ok
But overly priced
Service was good
The hotel is near to the beach, so you can go out for a walk at anytime. The breakfast was nice, good service. On other hand, the dinner wasn't so good, food wasn't really nice, so I'd go out to the pub that is near the hotel. Rooms were a bit dated, but it isn't a big problem. Furthermore they have WiFi, but that doesn't work in your hotel room, which is pity.
A wee bit quaint and eccentric but very authentic and lovely location
Lunch there last Thursday for 3 adults was a BIG let down.
As we left the hotel car park we spotted a chipper across the road, we all agreed that we might have been better fed there
Great atmosphere and great people fantastic food
Had a very enjoyable stay, Staff very friendly and helpful. Looking forward to next visit
Ye canny beat white sands hotel. Staff and guinness second to none. Great base for the Listowel race week in September with singsongs nightly and great chat with knowledeable racing folk. If you sing a song in the bar someone will buy you a pint - sing a song in a bar here in Glasgow and they will phone the Police !
A nice place that has a warming fire in the bar in winter that is welcoming. Great place for tour buses to stay and experience Ballyheigue. Have never stayed in the hotel but I am sure it's lovely.
Have never stayed here
it has nice food and nice staff
