One of the ladies here is a very nice woman (the darker haired one). The other seems less friendly. Fairly well informed but seem to know little about the local natural areas. Also the office is at a stupid place when there is a perfectly direalict building just across from the bus and train station that would be much more suitable. Could do with a gift shop selling local goods.

From the look and location of this office, it doesn't look very promising. Surprisingly it is. The two women who work here are very friendly and helpful, with plenty of free good maps and information to help make your stay easier. The main problem is the location of the office. It is a bit 'out' of the way from the action of the town. There is a great vacant site just across from the train station and bus stop that would be perfect for the Tourist Office. Should also have a gift shop of local goods to give tourists a taste of what local products there are.

Clean and nice place. Many guides available for free. There ous a city tour at 11 o'clock starting from the tourist office. Also at 3 o'clock there is a tour of Salscar Abbey starting near the Abbey.
