  There may be a long wait in the A&E. department, some times 9 hours, and two nights on a trolley, I cant blame the staff, its more to do with funding, the doctors and nurses are excellent, they do the best they can with the space and amount of beds they are afforded. Most of the wait at A&E is caused by time wasters with very little reason for being there.

  I was my relatives carer in casualty overnight in May .The staff here were excellent and working so hard constantly. The care and kindness shown to my relative and I from each and and every staff member was excellent.

  Staff have no idea what they're doing. Waiting times are unbelievable. You'd be lucky to get a gurney in a hallway never mind an actual bed in a ward. Patients usually leave in a worse state than when they arrived. Ignorant, arrogant staff with little or no knowledge of anything more serious than the flu. If it's not life threatening go to Ardkeen or a Dublin hospital as you will inevitably end up in one if you go to Wexford General Hospital first.

  Absolutly amazing! Nothing else to say! I was on holiday from wngland and my local hospital is pants and had fobbed me off! Its a shame i had to come home the staff treated me and spoke to me like i was a person and not a piece of dirt like im used to back here! Lovely staff, clean hospital and a very happy lady here!
