Very friendly staff. We had issue with bedroom , no fault of hotel, and it was handled so well and so professional by receptionist Emma. She was extremely nice and we only got to stay one night but will return again.

I have never given a negative review before but this place is dreadful. The room was awful, the service rubbish, the food akin to really bad school dinners from the '70's, the staff unhelpful and the management made Basil Fawlty look positively charming. We checked out after one night and went down the road to the Maritime Hotel that cost the same. It was like stepping out of a nightmare into a dream and we finally got the much needed R&R we were looking for.

Nice hotel. Rooms are excellent with great showers. Wifi throughout the hotel is constant and a decent speed. Wait staff in bars and restaurant are very good. Free parking. Great value stay.

Visited this afternoon for a 9yr old birthday. Brought 8 children swimming and then went into bar for food. It was great! We were given a table out of the way of the main bar, David and Ashley looked after us wonderfully. All of the children got what they wanted (pasta and chicken nuggets!) And then the birthday girl got a very special dessert, with a coloured sparkler! All very reasonable too. A super birthday afternoon, easy and pleasant! Thanks all!

Lovely outdoors here. Hotel itself is a bit outdated. However updating is happening gradually. Staff are very helpful and nice. Fodder is good and leisure club is also quite good . Close to Bantry.
