I like that place, nice swimming pool, but I would suggest to clean it up more frequently, nice staff, very polite.
Fantastic sports facilitiespossibly best in Ireland. Munster Rugby training ground..
The UL Sports Arena is a great place as a arena and open space, but not so much takes care of the small but important areas like gym and changing rooms which are overcrowded, small and lacking a lot concerning cleanliness and freshness.
In the gym, for instance is lacking a proper ventilation. For such an institution, I'd expect a higher level of maintenance. Could be Better.
Great facilities, super and efficient staff
Good but the weights and machines area is just too small.
Old gym. Worn Equipment. Need to be renovated.
Good gym and pool. I like the upside track but it could use some maintenance
For what should be a "facility of excellence" / some of University Sports Arena's, key infrastructure is surprisingly very poor. Designed by people with too much money, and zero operational experience. The changing areas are the dirtiest I've ever used, very poorly designed and difficult to clean. The lockers can't fit the standard kit bag! 70's style mono temperature communal showers, no hair dryers! No parking! I could go on and on! The Gym is good, but far too crowded usually, and inadequate for its purpose today.
Great for a swim on Sunday mornings, the path along the Shannon is easily accessible for a run or walk
State of the art gym. Near amenities. Olympic sized swimming pool.
Excellent facility. Though expensive. Only 50m pool is the region.
It has a 50m pool. A diving pool is opening in the next few months. Extensive sports hall with an indoor running track. Plenty of gym exercising machines. Various classes including step and aqua aerobics.
Great facilities.. super 50 metre swimming pool. Good gym and lots of different classes with good instructors
Fantastic all round gym and Olympic size swimming pool. Also has indoor soccer pitches which are second to none. Great all round venue for all your sporting needs.
