First night in Killarney, my wife and I hit what seemed to be the only pothole in Ireland. Not wanting to deal with the rental company, and not having a spare in the mini we rented, I pulled the tyre myself and booked a taxi to town. The driver asked if he could suggest a place for us that he uses, and I thought absolutely, so he took us here. The tyre was toast, the aluminum rim was bent badly too. The mechanic looked at it and said it was going to take him a while, I asked how long fearing the worst (possibly a day or two figuring I needed a new rim) to which he replied.. at least 45 minutes. Awesome I thought. I came back in an hour and sure enough, he'd reshaped the rim, fitted a brand new tyre, and balanced it to boot. fixed up and done in an hour, and for less that I could buy that tyre in the states for.
Thanks for the great service!! Out of all of our wonderful experiences on our trip, this was the only one I really felt I needed to make public. If you have any troubles be sure to look them up.
