Brought in my old bike to get new parts for it, was told it was a waste of money. After talking to the owners I decided to buy a second hand bike off them (it was only €90 so i hadn't very high hopes for it, but expected it to last a year), after about a month I brought it to a different repair shop (I had moved to a different part of the county), I was having trouble with the back wheel, the gears and the back breaks.
The guy at this other shop preceded to show me how badly I was ripped off.
The back wheel was warped, because of this the back breaks were totally useless, the gears where wore down and were contently hopping off, making going up hill (even a mild slope) almost impossible. the chain was also very old and slack.
I thought that maybe they (o'niells) had forgotten to do repairs (that they said they needed to before I could take the bike away a week later) so I emailed them, listing all the issues and asking for a refund, I never got a reply. I had to stop using the bike because i couldn't afford all the repairs and the bike was becoming far to dangerous to cycle. I went back to my old bike that O'Neill's told me was "a waste of money" to repair, it worked perfectly for the rest of the year.

I will never use this shop again for anything, they saw a person who obviously didn't know much about bikes (I said I was moving to a different part of the county so they knew I wouldn't be back for a long time) and decided to get rid of some useless stock.

I'm sure their new bikes are perfect, and if you know what your doing you'll be fine. I ended up learning a lot about bike maintenance the hard way
