A favourite day trip when visiting my great grandmother many years ago; sadly you are not encouraged to drink the water any more. What is the point of going to a well where you cannot drink? There was an old tin mug on a chain back then.

The area is still well kept and is restful.

Seeing St. Anne here was AMAZING. An outdoor church right across from Lough Gill. I love this place and will live in my heart for always. There was more reverence here than traditional churches.

Unbelievable beauty, a throughly moving experience. There is a feeling there that makes your skin tingle, not in a scary way, rather a positive moving way. This was one of my favorites near Sligo.

Tolbernalt Holy Well was absolutely moving!!!! As an Irish Catholic, I attended Mass on Sunday and Catholic Schools. I always dreamed of visiting Ireland. I knew the memories I collected from this beautiful country would forever be in my mind! But the memories I have from the Holy Well were spiritual! I could have spend the whole day here! The Holy Well was just what I needed to finish my tour! When I return to Ireland, I will most defiantly be back here!!!!
