Nice bar. Good Guinness. We were treated to a few ballads sung by an older gentleman while have a pint in the afternoon. Worth stopping in

Best pint of Guinness in Galway. Absolutely brilliant bar, brilliant staff and always loads of traditional Irish music being played live. No televisions anywhere in the bar and no harm either. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff.

Great, easy pub right in the middle of the town. Good ambience, easy to grab a beer, relax, then keep on moving. Lively atmosphere without being over the top.

A good lively place, crowded but serves quickly. A wide selection of beers too. Fantastic traditional music which was on from 9:30pm and kept going til the doors closed. Well worth a visit. Standing room only even on an out of season Tuesday evening though.

Nice little pub with traditional Irish music. It can get a bit crowded in there on a weekend but definitely a cool place to check out.

Much better than I was expecting. Real old school respect for Trad, the musicians taking pride of place. And the sound carried well to the back of the small pub. I was there on a Monday night and it was full, can only imagine it's crammed on the weekends. Get there early!

Home to live traditional music in Galway, I pop in here most days for a cup of coffee in the morning or a pint in the evening always a few local characters in the bar, and in the evening great musicians. You could meet anyone here, but you are guaranteed to meet someone interesting. It's a family run pub, good coffee, loads of beers, no food brilliant music from 5pm most evenings and again late into the night even in winter.
