  Terrible experience. I will never use Hertz or Thrifty again.
  
  I was charged €194.96 for a 2 day car rental that was estimated to have cost €36,73 when I booked online. BEWARE of this company!!
  
  Ok I asked for insurance, which I was told by an employee at Shannon Airport (Brian) would cost €19 a day, yet there is a charge for €135 for Supercover on the bill I paid.
  
  What's so super about Supercover, which costs €135 euro for 2 days on a compact car? I didn't hire a bugatti, it was a big old Toyota Corolla which wasn't well specced.
  
  I should have checked the charges properly before leaving the service desk.
  
  I complained over email, the email wasn't responded to in days, a message on Twitter did get a response, but in the end, they just rubbed my nose in it. I told them I may take further action - so here it is!

  First of all, you have to deal with the employee of Hertz if you rented with Dollar to get the car. It's the only rude person I've met in Ireland on my 9 days trip. I would rather walk around the entire country by foot than to rent a car there again. They rip you off on every side they can find.

  El coche tenía roto el retrovisor derecho por lo que era peligroso conducirlo. Lo advertí cuando lo cogí, pero dijeron no tener otro.
  También envié emails a la compañía, sin tener respuesta.
  En Shannon intenté cambiarlo y también dijeron no tener.
  Al final estuve 18 días con el coche, afortunadamente no ocurrió nada, aunque conduje con inseguridad.
  Además, el coche no tenía apenas detalles, las ventanas traseras eran manuales, la radio muy básica, luz y limpiaparabrisas no automáticos
  Para rematar, tuve gastos no informados en la reserva, como el de entregar el coche en Shannon o pagar con tarjeta de crédito.
  Por cierto, la reserva la hice con mucho tiempo, en marzo.
  El año pasado la hice con Europa también a Irlanda y me fue mucho mejor.
