The Veg Van

The Veg Van was created by Paul and Carley Kelly in 2009. As a result of the recession we both lost our jobs in construction however we decided to put our thinking caps on and return to our roots… Farming! We are very lucky that farming was always a huge part of both our lives growing up and that Paul’s parents in particular have a massive amount of experience in growing vegetables. So we set about doing a bit of DIY. We saw a gap in the market for locally grown fresh vegetables delivered right to your door.

We set up our own farm shop at the Downs in Mullingar and because of its huge success we decided to expand; we now deliver fresh fruit and our own vegetables to over 150 houses locally. We also supply local businesses and work places with fruit and veg.

We buy our fruit from Dublin’s Fruit and Vegetable market, as we are regular visitors everything is fresh and of the highest quality.
