We had a great welcome from Maria, as only the Irish can do!
Everything was beautifully presented and nothing too much trouble.
The location is perfect for popping into Killarney and for accessing lots of lovely attractions.
Thanks to Maria for making our stay in the Emerald Isle start so well.

When I first went there for food with my family, I was pleasantly impressed. The food was tasty, enjoyable atmosphere and it was fun to watch the zorbing you could see from the window.

However, recently I've been less and less impressed. The food has either been under- or over-cooked, then desserts were not nice, and several other things.

Hopefully they're only going through a rut, but that doesn't help people presently.

The Orchard House, is the real Gem of Kilkenny's otherwise very lack-lustre, dining establishments.
Orchard House, is very comfortable and modern, yet still with its own brand of Kilkenny Charm and Hospitality.
Nicely removed from the hustle and dinginess of, Kilkenny city, yet still only minutes drive away.
The staff were friendly, accommodating, and attentive. The bar is full of natural light, thanks to its large floor to ceiling windows looking out on to a nice garden and play-area for little ones, so that families can relax and enjoy their meal/ refreshments, and the little ones can run about within view.
