My wife and I come to Ireland every November for our wedding anniversary. One place we always go is Locke Bar. Food is always excellent. The atmosphere is spot on. And we can't rave enough about the staff, especially Reah! She always remember us and we share some limoncello. Must see in Ireland!

Great spot for eating out, match day, or just a few sociables. Live music some nights with great atmosphere and views of the city and river out front.

Nice little restaurant in the heart of limerick. The food is good and the staff is very attentive and nice. This place is a weird mix of tourist trap and local spot so beware that it does get very very full during popular times. Also Kate our server was freaking fantastic ! Please give her props for the works she does!

Love the atmosphere here, and the food is always quite plentiful and tasty.
The staff are very friendly and helpful, but on my last two visits I thought the seafood chowder was lighter than it had been in the past.
Normally I love their chowder, just a tad on the watery side of late.

The lamb stew is just gorgeous though!

I've eaten lunch here often and it's usually good. Cod special was particularly nice this lunchtime. Decent coffee and good service as well. Can get very busy when tour busses pull up nearby. The outdoor seating by the river is very popular especially on Summer nights/days.

Great place to grab a drink with friends and enjoy the summer evening. Plays Irish music a lot, which is good for tourists. Good selection. Don't forget your ID.

The food here is consistently good, and there is a good wide range of craft beers, if that is your thing. This bar and restaurant which was recently renovated also seems to attract the tourists as it is situated in one of the older parts of the city. It is always a pleasure to sit down here and frequently there is entertainment in the form of Irish dancing and/or traditional music. It is an old building and there is a traditional almost family and young couple friendly vibe.

Great pints on a summers day with seating outside along the river. Mix of locals and visitors/tourists. Traditional Irish music played every evening making for a great atmosphere. Good food and drinks at reasonable prices.
