The most touristic road in Galway full of shops and pubs where you have a full immersion of traditional tastes

This is the area where everyone goes. It's one street with lots of smaller side streets packed with shops, pubs, bars and restaurants. Along the streets are musicians and buskers, some talented and some not. Most of the streets are pedestrian only with no cars. It's an interesting area with a great atmosphere with the Spanish Arch at the bottom and Eyre Square at the top.
Just be aware of the professional Romanian beggars that get bussed in that pretend they are homeless. They are all over Ireland.

Dublin has Temple Bar and Galway had the Latin Quarter. I'll take the Latin Quarter any day. It's a blast. Enjoy great pubs and food and buskers. Lined with lights during Christmas/winter and bustling with tourists during summer.

It's alright, but never go there as there's no shops in it that I would normally buy from.

Lots of pubs and nightlife on the area. This is also a food paradise. Lots of souvenir and vintage shops layered on each streets. You will notice a number of high caliber music performance at its simplest form. This is because you will see performers / buskers on the street side pouring their souls into their music. A must visit place in Galway.
