We had dinner twice this week. The food here is first class, fresh and great portions. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. We would highly recommend the Galleon.

Great family-friendly restaurant in Sand Hill, Cty Galway, Ireland. Serving Irish specials and pub fare with a friendly wait staff. We went back twice while staying in the area. It was that good.

Just had dinner for four here and it was beautiful. Lamb cutlets were amazing!! Lasagne beautiful.mash potato and gravy deliciouskids and adults happy. Staff very friendly and accomodating. Glad we happened to find this restauranttasty good food

One always knows that the food here will be good and it never disappoints. The helpings are generous and the staff very friendly and accommodating. We were there two weeks ago and I had roast leg of lamb with stuffing. It was delicious. My husband had cod which was also very good. They have an extensive menu of honest to goodness food and their deserts are mouth watering. Great kids menu also.
