Came here at 4pm on Friday, ignored by first member of male staff, then seated it seems that they do not want anyone to come in towards closing time of 5pm, although we left before 5 felt rushed and they were all but sweeping under our feet to get us out. If I was the owner I would not be happy about this attitude towards customers. Food was nice though.

The fig tree was a diamond of a restaurant. Right off of the main street in Kilkenny. They were extremely loving right from the start. It felt like we were family. The food was phenomenal and eloquently presented. My sister has an egg allergy and they were more than welcome to provide us with egg-free options. A lovely place to truly enjoy a meal.

Myself and my boyfriend had lunch here and it was brilliant, the vegetarian options are delicious and the selection is very good. Portions were a tad on the small side for the price and the staff could come across as a little blunt, but overall we enjoyed it.
