I went there Sunday for lunch with family and found it very satisfying in every way. The food was delicious, the facilities fantastic and definitely not closterfobic, the service was dead on and professional. I would recommend this establishment to everyone for any occasion. 5 stars.

Stayed as part of a National Holidays coach holiday. The hotel was lovely, very nice decor, nice spacious rooms, beautiful gardens especially at the back with water features. The food was really nice, a great choice, something for everyone. There's live entertainment in the bar most nights. Really nice helpful staff. I'd definitely stay here again.

Quaint place with great service and good food. Rooms are good size and big windows in the sunroom for breezes and great views of countryside. Beautiful trail just behind the Inn that walks along a babbling brook.

Too many groups. Enormous dining room with less space at the tables. Bad quality food for masses. Rooms ok for short stays. No water pressure in the shower.

Nice rooms, good breakfast, friendly people but in the industrial park on the very outside of Dublin with no pubs or restaurants around it.

I stayed alone in this nice hotel October BankHoliday weekend, 2015. My quite room was comfortable and very clean. The hotel staff deserve a 5Star rating, they were welcoming, warm and obliging and made my stay enjoyable. The buffet breakfast was very tasty, compliments to the great chiefs and serving staff.
Ive been informed that half the rooms have already been redecorated, i was on the third floor which hasnt been updated yet, so i look forward to my next stay in this Friendly hotel in a decorated fresh room.
The Manor West shopping centre is very close by, offering great shopping. Their is also a lovely Garden Centre across the road which also has clothes and house items for sale and well worth a visit also. Their are some interesting nature walks around this area also.
I would have No hesitation in recommending this very reasonably priced hotel to other people. Good job to All staff in The Earl of Desmond.

Came here in late May on a National Coach Trip. Large and pleasant bedroom and bathroom - always a good start! The gardens and riverside walks are beautiful and there are plenty of seating areas in the garden. For the price we paid, the food was excellent with a choice each night. The staff in the restaurant were exceptional! Hardworking and attentive but always smiling and ready for a word and a laugh with all the guests, they certainly helped our holiday go smoothly. Although there were lots of coach parties, the whole business of food was so well organised, with specific time slots for two parties at a time, that we all got well fed promptly. In fact, the Earl of Desmond has turned the art of entertaining coach parties into a very fine art indeed!
