Best breakfast in cavan ,they rooms are modern and cosy ... we've been going for years and and fingers crossed will be going for year more 😍😍
Stayed in the new section, clean modern and spacious rooms, breakfast was perfect, full Irish. No rush for checkout on the Sunday morning, perfect as a base to explore the county or just a night away on the town
Stayed there last night noise very loud doors banging was woken up at 20 to 4 by laughing shouting and talking
Food is fabulous .staff are lovelly

Very affordable and tasty food and good service
Cheap and cheerful
I stayed here last weekend, was looking for cut-price accommodation for one night and that's exactly what it was. I had bed and breakfast for 40 euros and it was just great. Cavan is a well stocked town, bars, restaurants, friendly locals.
We had stayed here 4 years ago loved the experience ao much that returned this weekend and stayed in the Vip rooms there fab so warm and modern . Everything you could need is in the rooms, comfy beds and from our check in to our check out we were looled after so well breakfast was out of this world and the fruit scones topped the whole experience .....
We'll be back
Thanks sooooo much
I booked well in advance over the phone and agreed a price for a single room. I had to give my credit card over the phone which was clearly being written down.
In the week leading up to the booking, I was called four times to "double check" things and had to repeat myself a lot to different confused staff. I was then told they'd double booked the room and would have to move me around which I agreed to without complaint.
At one point I was even threatened with losing the booking as the already doubly booked room was in demand.
I had said I would arrive at 8pm to collect keys as I was competing in Cavan nearby late that evening which they agreed wasn't a problem. I received a fifth call at 6.15pm telling me to come now and get the keys as there would be no one there after 7:30pm - very inconvenient. Young girl gave me the keys and was unaware of all the nuisance calls from other staff members/owners - it seems when she's off, it all falls apart.
The flat was run down, noisy and lit by the street but the sheets were clean at least.
When I went to checkout a day early, my card had already been charged. No receipt available.
Upon returning home, I checked my bank statement only to find they had charged my account twice on separate days, once for an amount well above the agreed price for my entire stay. So 2.5 times the stay was missing off my card.
I called to inform them of their mistake, there were no apologies, she just read my card number back to me (still on her piece of paper) and said it would be refunded.
Very stressful experience for what should have been easy business for them. Easygoing customer just looking for a bed.
Although it says on the website rooms from 30 euro, a single in August 2015 was 50 euro which I feel was overpriced. I later checked with other BBs in Cavan town and they were around 40 for BB and 30 without BB. So what do you get for 50 euro, the room was clean but had paint peeling off the wardrobes and no shower/shampoo. When i asked for some shampoo/shower gel i was told they didnt supply them but that there was a shop across the road where i could buy some. Along with this, from a safety point of view, the smoke alarms in the corridors either had batteries missing or were pulled apart. The breakfast was good and the restaurant staff were lovely but i left feeling ripped off from my first and possibly last overnight stay in Cavan!
