We arrived at The Baggot Inn on Friday 11th October 2013 around 11am after our flight from Bham airport. We went to this particular pub purely through reviews. Upon arrival we were met by a lovely waitress who welcomed us into the Bar for drinks and lunch. We found the atmosphere to be very friendly and the people lovely.

Unfortunately on the Monday as we were due to fly home we thought we would finish our trip off with a last drink in The Baggot before we left. As we arrived the lady (different from the one on our first visit) sat us down and handed us food menus, we informed her we only required a drink as we had a flight within a few hours. Once we had said this we didn't feel as welcome as we did on our first day.

We were more or else informed that they weren't open for business yet.

If we ever returned to Dublin The Baggot Inn is one place we wouldn't return to. It is such a shame considering our first impressions!!!!

A bar / restaurant that's a famous venue for music (U2's first gig), really good food, friendly service, and Guinness on draft.

A very middle of the road place. Slightly more modern than the average in terms of decor but that is not to everyone's taste. One of the few bars in Dublin with the "pull your own pint" tables but the novelty quickly wears off.

Fun to pull your own pints, and I always give myself the best service.
