This is a nice hotel and spa but is in need of a little tlc. It could do with a maintenance man for a few days to get it back up to scratch. The flat roofs were flooded, the facias were filthy, the pictures and ceiling in the spa needed painting, the bath in the room was struggling to fit in its surround properly, basically it was OK but for the money and the star rating the cracks are beginning to show. We were one of three rooms that were filled so was very quiet. The massage and facial that we had were great, the food in the evening and breakfast was just OK. A place of this size not to have beer on tap and a bar is also a little poor. However what reduced its rating the most was that there was no WiFi! In this day and age and with a four star rating I'm afraid that's a given very poor show, no phone signal meant I had to sit in the reception where a weak WiFi was available to book a flight online. We had a junior suite which was not cheap and should have had a super king bed but just came with a king sized double. Not a four star stay or building I'm afraid. Real shame expected more.

No atmosphere spa facilities are a little run down , paint pealing off walls and ceilings, stains on the ceiling and cobwebs everywhere, poor house keeping in the rooms wouldn't go back to it

Overall pricing is quite reasonable. The Afternoon Tea is filling. Dinner lovely with a nice chilled atmosphere. Environs and surroundings definitely pleasing

Excellent Spa Hotel. Would recommend for a weekend break. Food is good quality, maybe a little over priced. Menus aren't labelled for allergens however staff are knowledgeable and will adapt menu items where possible

While the setting was beautiful and the spa itself very asthetically pleasing , the restaurant was severely understaffed and although the two waiting staff were absolutely lovely the food at both dinner and breakfast was truly appalling cold food on cold plates no potatoes or veg served until everyone was so hungry that they had to start their meal when veg did arrive two tiny bowls .equivalent to cereal bowls were left between six people. Breakfast was also a disaster , according to the notice in both bedroom and on the menu it was ment to start at 8am but when we arrived at 8:30 nothing was even set up , orders for cooked breakfasts came out cold and wrong even the tea in the teapot was lukewarm . We had to ask for butter and we received two small slices for six slices of toast and three slices of brown bread . Really very disappointing as I had been here before years ago under different management and it was first class .

No hot water, no phone in the room to contact the reception and no remote control for the TV makes this otherwise lively place a really bad experience.

This was my third time to visit the Temple Spa and I was not disappointed. The staff are very sweet and helpful. The food is exceptional - and we waddled out of the restaurant very happily every evening! The spa is lovely and offers a range of treatments. I particularly enjoyed the hydrotherapy area overlooking the beautiful green surrounding fields.
