  The wine is terrible value, starting at about 9 euro credits per bottle. I went to buy cereal and many of the boxes were damaged and looked like they had been opened. I don't think I have ever bought such a high percentage of branded products whilst shopping (2 euros for the cheapest available toothbrush, I mean come on). Unfortunately, unlike your Tescos, your Morissons, your Sainsburys etc. there simply isn't sufficient choice of generic replacements. However, I do find that the shopping choice in Ireland is generally quite poor compared to other European nations. With this "relativity" in mind, my verdict - it's a 2 stars.

  Very busy shop in the overpopulated village. The car park is tight but there's a good butcher counter and always good wine offers. The staff are pleasant and the last time I was in the off licence there was a very flamboyant, hairy, well dressed gentleman there to assist.

  Sick of buying food that is in its use by date on the packaging and gone off when I get home. Happens ALL the time!
