  Lovely young staff,but hopelessly inefficient

  Chronically understaffed and (as a result) overcrowded. Pokey, claustrophobic and badly laid out. But hey, it’s the only convenience store in the locality so why try harder?

  This shop is getting worse by the day. Just been over there and it’s chaotic. Two of the self service machines are out of order and there’s hardly any cashier staff on duty. Food is often out of date and an offer I was hoping to avail of was not reflected on my receipt. Took me 15 minutes to buy two packets of crisps. Also no one seems to be able to tell where queues start or finish. There’s no organisation at all. They seem to have lots of security staff but no one operating the tills.

  I have nothing but bad experiences with this store
  Staff checking my notes as if I were criminal.There were approx 20 other customers in the shop at the time and they didn't check anyone's Maybe because I was wearing a tracksuit 😅 very stupid
  All prices under products are messed up,one price on shelf and other one on till
  There are people in front of the shop constantly asking for money every single day
  I complained to the shop and they couldn't care less
  I have sympathy for the less fortunate but they are clearly abusing kind hearted people
  It is also against the law to beg in front of shops , ATM etc
  No one cares
  I only shop here because it's the closest shop to my home but if you can avoid it
  I can confirm comments that staff are rotating there very often
  The manager verbally attacked me there why am I using self service checkouts when there is sign they are out of service
  I said: Where is your sign?
  She said: You are right there is no sign
  Very stupid
  Tills where working they thought they were broken, they also thought there is a sign there and it wasn't
  Very stupid 😂

  This place could be so much better. They have recently installed self service tills but then don't have staff to assist in using them or approving purchases. On a number of occasions I have witnessed customers waiting for a significant amount of time for staff to assist. Really disappointing to see this in a local store that should be better.

  Only go when I have to its worst supervalu ever. Always have to queue even though plenty of staff. I love my local supervalu in Orwell. They should take lessons from them

  Great shop always got great deals on top quality meats. The shop has a fantastic deli .. selection of foodstuffs and off licence. With a post office and atm instore you can get everything done at the same time. The staff
  .on the deli counter especially are really lovely cheery and welcoming

  It's fine like. The staff is nice enough and there's a post office So there's that. At lunch during school time it's impossible to deal with as it's swamped with kids. The selection is ok But it's small Not like the one on Knocklyon Overall, it's small, and limited but friendly.

  Have been calling to this store for many years and have never felt like my custom was valued. Always changing its layout and range. Very unfriendly management/owner. So many other great shops right beside it. Wouldn't bother .

  Worst supervalu that I have been in. From Donegal to Kerry. Staff very unhelpful and uninterested in the customer. It appears to me that the store is run in an ad-hoc way!!! Wont be in any hurry to be back. Rather go to Centra!!!
