Discover a part of Donegal history, still being practiced today. People are kind and will answer all the questions you might have about Donegal tweed.

Maintaining the tradition of hand weaving indigenous to the area, the last 100% authentic tweed mill and garment makers in Ireland. All the tweed is hand woven and all the garments made in the mill in Kilcar. Fabulous colours and designs.

Wonderful shop that spins and weaves the wool into clothing and beautiful rugs. They even took time to take us upstairs to show us the old fashion machines and explain how it all worked. They were the Sweetest people. A must see.

Visiting Studio Donegal was a dream come true for me. They card & spin the wool and then weave it and then sew the most gorgeous clothes and home decor. The beauty and high quality of their workmanship is unmatched!! It was so difficult to decide what to purchase - it's all beautiful. The weavers were so nice and even interrupted their lunch to show us around.
