A small church with little decor to enjoy but quite some history - and most importantly, a fantastic little tour into a couple of its crypts. The guide was simply brilliant.

Saw a sign for this place while going to the Jameson distillery. It was my favorite thing we did while in Dublin. The crypts are so interesting and the tour guide we had was hilarious and really knowledgeable. Highly recommend! So glad to have found this hidden gem.

Probably my favourite historical thing to do in Dublin. Great tour of the crypts underneath the church with bags of very interesting history. The tour guide I've had on a number of occasions is absolutely brilliant, really brings it to life and has a wealth of knowledge. Great value too. Opening times are a little restrictive so check before you go.

This a great bit if history for everyone. The vaults under st Michans church house the mummified corpses of some famous and historical figures. The guides are great and enthusiastic. It's really cheap by comparison to other tours in Dublin, so whether you're Irish or a tourist this is definitely somewhere to visit when you're in Dublin.

Amazing mummies! The guy who gives you the tour of th crypts is amazing! We were visiting the Church and suddenly a guy breaks in shouting "Who wants to see the mummies?". Best tour so far in Dublin.

Quite possibly one of the best hidden gems in Dublin. St Michan's sits nestled between two VERY modern multi-story office buildings and can be walked past and you'd never know what you missed! The interior of the church is gorgeous, but that's just part of the draw. Their crypts beneath the church house some infamous people in Irish history as well as several mummified corpses that are a result of some environmental phenomena that cause the coffins to deteriorate and fall apart, exposing the bodies inside. The tour guide was extremely informative and friendly-we were so happy we made the extra effort to get out and see this!

The things you can actually see (crypt, coffins, mummies), are not that impressive. They are quite cool and interesting, but not outstanding. But the tour itself is nevertheless just great. Mostly because of the great guide, who knows how to create a nice atmosphere and tells you all the interesting facts in an entertaining manner. This makes it a great sight to visit

This place is amazing. I can't believe I've lived in Ireland 36 years ( I'm 36 years old) and have never been in this place until today. Peter (the tour guide), his narrative skills are brilliant. I've been to other tourist spots in Dublin over the past few years and unfortunately few compare to St. Michan's. I'll be back for sure.
