  This is one of the few round towers you can climb in Ireland. It was a unique experience for those who are used to climbing winding stairs up towers. This is a ladder that gets very narrow at the top. Nice view from above!

  Definitely go up into the tower if you're physically able. Such a cool experience, you wont be able to do this many other places. Would return and see the Cathedral and tower again.

  Great tourist hot spot. Important historical site. Round tower is well worth a visit and track to the too. Great views of Kilkenny city and surrounding countryside.

  Incredible! Very beautiful cathedral and a must see when visiting kilkenny. The stained glass windows are my favourite. One of the most beautiful interiors of any cathedral I've visited in my short time in Ireland. A tour map is provided with various interesting points, allowing you to see the interior at your own pace.
  Also a must see would be the round tower - A climb able tower with a great view over the city.

  Very well preserved and organized. The grounds are beautiful. Tours are self guided and well laid out, but would have been nice to have a guided option. Parking could be a challenge during busy season.
