  Shane, Colm, Aoife and all the crew were very courteous, highly technically knowledgeable and ultimately installed a great system that I'm very happy with (5.3kWp, 10kWh battery).
  
  It did take some persistence to secure the date and grant etc, they seem to be flat out. However, this is a lifetime investment so worth the wait to get quality. My view was that they gave very balanced and comprehensive advice, they supply high quality equipment and the app is intuitive. I'm happy I went with them.

  I first contacted Brian late in 2020 to query an installation. Brian duly arrived and provided me a quote. For a variety of reasons, all on my side I did not proceed until late Q2'22 at which time Brian was equally attentive to my requirement. He attended site again to verify his measurements and I placed my order. Received an installation date 2-3 months out but I expected this considering how busy they are. Our installation date arrived as did a crew of 6 guys that got stuck in and had the panels (16 + 10kva battery) in place within a few hours. The electrician arrived promptly as the finished and by the end of the day, we had a working solar panel system feeding our home. The entire process when I eventually got off my own axx was utterly painless, the attention and service received 1st class and we now have a system that satisfies all of our daily needs in a house of 5 including three full sized teenagers. I would have no hesitation in recommending Solar Home if you are thinking about a PV installation.

  If you're looking for professionalism, look elsewhere.
  
  I sent a deposit in March and couldn't contact anyone in their office until June, leaving me wondering if this was a legitimate company or if I'd been scammed. Emails were ignored and the phone rang out any time I called their office.
  
  I eventually got given an install date of July 15th and they fitted the battery and inverter but seemingly just forgot to put in the actual solar panels. The panels were eventually put in on the 9th of August, just over a week before my SEAI grant approval ran out. After calling them every day for a week, they finally uploaded the required documentation one day before the grant would expire.
  
  I then naively thought that the stress was behind me but the inverter broke on the 24th of August and while they were actually fairly quick to replace it, they had told me the serial would be moved over so I could continue to use the app to monitor the system with the new inverter. It's almost a month later, that hasn't happened, and they're once again ignoring my emails. So for all I know the new inverter is also broken and nothing is being done about it.
  
  This has been nothing short of a maddening ordeal and I would not wish it on anyone.

  First got in contact with Shane in November 2021 for domestic and school installation. In December, Amanda from Solar Home recommended applying for SEAI grant for PV battery before it expired which was great advice. Three onsite appointments were cancelled. Contacted Aoife in the office numerous times between May and July as the deadline for installation approached. I was promised repeatedly by Aoife that Colm or Shane would get back to me and provide a quote. Nothing happened. I changed suppliers 2 weeks before the grant expired. If a company like Solar Home don't engage with the customer SEAI are very understanding and will amend the grant application. Found an alternative supplier who was very busy but when he made an appointment he stuck to it. In the process of having a 7kw system installed. Many people seem to be happy with Solar Home but my experience is the complete opposite.

  Super job by Colm and his team. Very professional, honest and easy to deal with. Would have no hesitation in recommending Solar Home. First class and an example of how companies should be run. Customer focus from Brian the sales chap helps focus on what you need, no hard sell just advice, Aoife in the office pleasant and efficient, and the rest of the team deliver the goods. Cleaned up after the work to the point where you would never know they were there. Many thanks to you all.
