  Fab food. 9 of us accommodated without been booked. Efficient service by Mrs Sheedy. All very happy with choices of food. The nicest beer battered fish I have eaten. If you like quality, fresh food you need to visit.

  We stayed here in March of 2016. We were on an 11 day driving tour of Ireland and were lucky enough to stay here. The husband and wife that own and run Sheedy's are wonderful people. Chef John is very talented in the kitchen. When we finished our evening meal we were so impressed that we asked for him to come out and let us have our pictures taken with him. He was surprised that we asked and was very friendly while we were doing this. His wife runs the front of the hotel and together they make you feel like royalty. The place is so cozy and comfortable. It was my favorite lodging of the entire trip. If I ever go back to Ireland I will go out of my way to stay here again!

  J'ai autant aimé l'hôtel que le restaurant. L'endroit est très mignon avec une cheminé et de gros fauteuils moelleux dans l'entrée. Finalement l'hôtel ressemble davantage à une grande maison de voyageurs accueillis par des hôtes charmants. La cuisine est vraiment délicieuse, je ne m'attendais pas à ce que ce soit aussi bon. Mention spéciale pour le butterscotch pudding complètement décadent.

  Always fantastic food from the Kitchen of John Sheedy and perfect service from Martina.
  Fantastic rooms too. A hotel of great character and friendly to boot.
