The auld ones here made me feel like 'A royal Spa'
This hotel was booked for us by John, who owns CYCLE TOURS IRELAND. It was our second stop on an amazing week of cycling. The hotel has a long and interesting past. The rooms were adequate and very clean and the breakfast filling as usual! Rooms facing the street may be noisier in the evening than ours, which looked out on the back parking lot. The location was ideal for wandering the town after a day of cycling. I know some people used the laundry service. Thanks for the warm welcome to Ireland and for accommodating John, his bicycles, and all of his group!
Just had breakfast in the cafe. Really nicely cooked full Irish (with a perfect soft fried egg!) with some good coffee. Perfect start after a long night. One star docked for a slightly small portion, but that's probably more down to the fact that it tasted of more!!
Great value and nice staff
Quaint and lovely the owner, Ana, is just a sweetheart. If you show up before 5PM (1700) you can catch a laundry service! Quite nice, and reasonably priced! Yummy breakfast, too.
Tables in the bar were a bit small for dinner, but the food and service were top rate. Didn't have the pizza, but people from another table said it was great.
Really lovely hotel. Couldn't fault it. Great value. Clean. Super breakfast. Old school but very welcoming.
Vry nice
We made a late evening stop off here after a day in the burren. The main courses which we had were very bland, the deserts however were tasty. There was no atmosphere in the restaurant as it was completely silent.
