  Nice scenic route to walk or cycle from Athy all the way to St Mullins. Looking forward to when the route is going to be stoned and rolled as some sections are hard to traverse in wet or poorer conditions.

  Only parked close by looks like the work to improve the riverbank will make it nicer for walking

  Well kept tow paths for walking miles and miles. Also great river for coarse fishing and one of the better rivers in Ireland for Pike and the Irish record Pike was caught in the Barrow. Be even better if certain people didn't catch them for the table.
