I had the pasta carbonara and was quite disappointed. The sauce was bland, the meat was fatty and the pasta was a bit too al dente. Some of the staff were nice some seemed under a lot of pressure

It was lovely. Small service good and staff not in your face and was not pulling the plates away when you dropped your knife and fork.

Myself and my boyfriend arrived here and waited 30 minutes to be approached by a waitress for our food and drink order in which time 2 tables that had come in after us had been served..we waited a further 20 minutes for our starter which when it arrived was completely wrong..we ordered garlic cheese bread and a mushroom and chorizo calzone..the garlic bread was pizza dough with a drizzle of garlic and no cheese..the calzone was what looked like packet ham with tomato sauce, no chorizo..we sent it back and the waitress just apologised and no mention of whether we were going to get another starter or not..while waiting we saw another table sending food back that they had just received..after waiting a further 20 minutes we decided to leave at which point they had the audacity to charge us for our starters before leaving. I would not recommend this restaurant. The staff were not helpful and the food was a disgrace.

Had a fab dinner on a Monday night- (not too many places open on a monday evening in midleton) wonderful friendly waiter, great food. Lovely red wine.
Had 2 boys celebrating birthdays. Very relaxed, nice atmosphere. Will be back.

There is a "Diploma Pizzaiuolo" proudly displayed inside near the front door. The pizza is perfect. This is NOT thin-crust pizza like New Jersey, it is NOT thick crust pizza like Chicago. This is another type, outstanding in its own right. Neapolitan, perfect dough (!!!), fresh toppings, an incredible eating experience. As if that's not good enough, I had the cannoli. Wow. Did I say wow? That alone was a 5 star serving.
The staff is VERY friendly and courteous. This was the best culinary surprise on our trip. I'd revisit Midleton just to dine there again.
    Price? Worth every Euro!
