  PhoneWatch are selling customer details on to debt collection agencies, even if you don't owe them any money. if you receive a threatening letter from them, contact the the Data Protection Commissioners Office immediately. But to be safe do not do business with them in the first place. There are much better and cheaper home security firms out there.

  ** Edit. Phonewatch replied to my review two days after I posted it. THIS IS THE QUICKEST THEY'VE EVER REPLIED TO ANY OF MY QUERIES/EMAILS. Avoid! ** Avoid Phonewatch. Despite what they may claim here, their method of renewing your rolling yearly contract, and the wording of renewal email is, in my experience, deliberately misleading. They increase monitoring charges EVERY SINGLE MONTH. Customer service is poor, with queries often not replied to. Their billing is haphazard, I am adamant I was not sent bills on a monthly basis, and when I requested copies of bills I was sent initially sent ones belonging to another customer. Avoid.

  AVOID!!!
  Only time our alarm has been set off is due to one of our dogs or cat! Which is very frustrating when we were told at the start it was a pet friendly service.
  Been with phone watch over a year and between the animals setting the alarm off and in my opinion the pricey monthly fees of €45 we aren't happy with the service.
  Tried to cancel today only to discover we are in a contract until Feb next year and if we cancel we will still have to pay monthly fees until Feb!
  Absolutely disgraceful that they can do that. Especially at the moment with people out of work etc. We wanted to try save some money by finding a more affordable alarm system with better monthly fees but now we can't do anything until Feb next year!
  Very disappointed that we are stuck with an alarm system we aren't happy with

  I was stupid to go with phone watch. See below the listed issues.
  
  1. Very Expensive.
  2. Customer care - - Not responsive.
  3. They will charge u for LEDS.
  4. Phonewatch sales team say if you refer you will get the benefit. Somebody referred me, I told their name. They said you are already on discounted rates(euro 199), if you want to benefit the person who referred, pay euro 299.
  Will anybody will refer like this.. Will anybody get the benefited. Shame on Phonewatch sales team.
