I was in a particularly difficult time suffering from lower back pain in a prolonged state for a few months when I went to see Aidan in November of 2016. I was 36 and was very active but couldn’t get rid of my pain. After recommending an MRI and upon examination, Aidan came up with a personalised recovery, flexibility and strength plan to allow me in a slow way to gain mechanisms to overcome my back problems. I went to see him every month for about 7 months and now every three months. I could not recommend him enough. Trough his workout routine and Pilates exercises I’m back to my old self and am able to tackle any problems that are starting to afflict me thus not allowing my back problems to escalate.
After previous visits to different physios I was recommended Aidan Woods by a running shop. Absolutely delighted I decided to go ahead and get an appointment as I couldnt be happier. Straight to the point and was really fast at pinpointing the problem. Highly reccomend him for anyone thinking about it.
In May I tore my ACL playing football. After visiting a few doctors I decided not to operate but treat it with David at Pearse Street Physio. Best decision I've made. Incredibly professional - I always look forward to the next visit. After 4 months I am back running and can do all day-to-day activities as if nothing happened. Very very grateful for the physios here, in particular David who treated me. More than recommended!!!
Haven't enough good things to say about this place. I went in hardly able to walk and now I'm back able to train and exercise the way I want. The Pilates classes are brilliant and varied. I wouldn't think of going to another physio in Dublin.
I have been going to this clinic for a while now for neck/shoulder related pain. Few things standout about this practice: Connor is terrific. His very professional and also fun to be around. As a result, PT is pleasant even though it’s hard work. The place is well run. They put the technology in perfect use in terms of appointment booking, exercise sheets, email reminders etc. Conor sounds like he has a lot of experience and expertise which is very reassuring. Whenever I have a question he has a patient, thorough, and thoughtful answer. He is comfortable speaking about injuries in plain English or medically-specific terminology. I am not an expert on PT but he seems to be thorough. He is also fun. Given that we spend a lot of time together this is important too. Overall great experience and I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Bart
Well, I never had physio before - I probably was an "unbeliever". After rupturing my achillies last summer I decided that I would budget a few Euro to do proper physio to give myself the best chance of recovery, even though I probably thought I was wasting money - but I said I would do it anyway (just incase).
First things first - Pearse Street Physio is an excellent set up - great flexible hours and great staff. At the start it all felt like "pushing a rope" - its hard to see the difference straight away. But its down to you personally on what you do with the advice and treatment plans. My view was "no point paying these guys then not listening to them", so I listened and did what I was told. It started slow, and I got frustrated in my own mind as I wanted to run again sooner - but I listened to Aidan and the team "no running yet". I kept doing the exercises in the plan they gave me and time ticked on.
I have to say that Aidan and the team are fantastic. No beating around the bush - straight to the point. I like that, even when the news was hard to hear. Focused on getting you right as soon as possible.
I reckon I had maybe 12 sessions before I was discharged. Aidan gave me great confidence that I was on the right path and when I was allowed to run again, I knew it would be ok, because he said so and I had did what he had asked over the months.
This week has been 9 months since my surgery. I can safely say I don't feel my achilles pain any more and I am continuing to get stronger on the bike and from running. I have confidence that I have given myself the best possible recovery from partnering with Aidan and the team.
It was money well spent in the long run. Commit to these guys for yoru recovery and you'll get there in the best way. I'm actually very grateful to Aidan and the team. Without them I am sure I'd be in a much worse state trying to do things on my own.
While this has been my only physio experience ever, it was an excellent one. Not only did Conor fix up my hand, but he offered great advice as to how to keep in shape and ensure that I don't get tendonitis again.
After knee surgery for damaged cartilage and ligaments I was required to attend physio.
I spent 4 months working with Conor McElroy to build me back up to the point where I could get back to martial arts and resistance training. He was attentive and professional and tailored every session and the related exercises to my needs.
Thanks to him I am now back as strong as I was before my injury. He was instrumental to my recovery and kept me motivated even when things got difficult. My faith in physiotherapy has also been restored!
Thank you so much, Conor!
Recommended by a friend, I went to see Aidan with a persistent knee injury which I had for years. I had seen other physios but they could not seem to fix it. Aidan identified the problem and working with him saw immediate improvements and now a complete cure. He takes a broad approach of including not only strengthening exercises but also pilates and coaching in your sport to get the best results. I would totally recommend Aidan and Pearse Street Physio.
Pearse street physio was recommended to me by a friend. I went in with a shoulder and leg injury that had developed while training for a full distance triathlon. The team was extremely friendly and Conor provided injury specific exercises and worked with me to get me back on track. The care and attention to detail was second to none. Thank you so much. Ger
