My boyfriend and I did the whiskey makers premium tour and it was totally worth the 60€. We had Chris as our "tour guide" on the matter and he was AWESOME. You got to taste 4 different types of Jameson, blend your own whiskey, and take a taste directly from a barrel.all while hearing the background behind Jameson. I definitely recommend doing this version of the tour when going to the distillery. Ask for Chris!!!!

Really great tour. Overall experience was better than expected. Did the Guinness tour earlier in the day and this was the better tour. The tasting was great. You get a few small tastes of whiskey and scotch followed by a full drink included in the price of the €20 tour. It’s a good one.

A fantastic tour. One can’t help but compare it to the more popular tour of the Guinness Storehouse - this one tends to be more interactive and a lot less crowded, which was nice. Whiskey is just not going to agree with everyone though like beer does. I thought there was a chance that I might be a little bit more interested in drinking whiskey after taking this tour, but I guess its just not for me.
Make sure that you buy your tickets online as the tours go every 15 minutes. The tour guide that we had was absolutely great!response / report this review -

A brand experience like the Guinness Storehouse rather than a tour of a production facility, better though than the Guinness experience as guide led rather than self guided and somewhat cheaper. A fairly interesting history of Irish whiskey in general and Jameson in particular with regular emphasis about why they they think their whiskey is better than others, especially blended scotch. Especially enjoyed the guide's tangent on the subject of "My Lovely Horse"

I'm not a whisky drinker but this tour is very well designed. Great use of multimedia, sensory table and explain the history and distillation process. Nice shop and bar. Totally worth the price.

It was a fun time going to the Jameson distillery as it was right next to our Airbnb. We booked a tour online for about £40-45 I believe for two people and got in about 5 minutes before the tour even though online they explicitly stated if you're not on time or there before 15 mins of your tour starting, then you'll miss out. Luckily they were super nice and asked no questions or gave us a hard time. We still ended up waiting about 5 minutes or more passed the time for the tour but it was no big deal and everyone was having a good time. Our tour guide was Kevin very nice and funny and guy who made the tour interesting. I'm sure the rest of the guides are the same. Surprisingly enough, the tour is somewhat interactive something I wasn't expecting which was cool. We were shown history, brewing process and difference between Irish, Scottish and American whiskey all side by side. I won't say more to ruin the tour but it was slightly brief, had some good drinks in and they even sang me happy birthday and took a shot for me! It was great! Also with your ticket with bought online or on site, it comes with a drink voucher for the end of the tour so you can pick a free cocktail or just straight up Jameson at the end. Lovely experience overall.

The tour / tasting was worthwhile. They have spent their money wisely, creating an experience that combines a very smart, high tech presentation on the history and making of Jameson's, along with a tour guide who is an integral part of the experience. The tasting session is well presented and gives a good appreciation of the art of the whiskey. If you only had time for one, I'd pick this over the Guinness tour. (But try and do both.)

Fantastic. Head and shoulders over the Guinness Storeroom tour. Beautiful multimedia but at the same time all les by your personal tour guide with no more than a group of about a dozen people. The experience feels very personal, and you get to engage with each other and the tour guide. Jameson has a very rich history, and they demonstrate it beautifully. Very good mementos available, as well.

One of the best tours. The staff mentioned they recently underwent a renovation and it shows! The place had a great atmosphere and the tour was great and includes a sample at the end. They have seasonal mixers but the original was also worth it. Get the red breast and the crested 10. If you really want something unique get the distillery edition. Customization is only €5 and is a nice add to any collection.

Had the Whiskey Maker experience with Christopher and enjoyed it immensely. Learned a lot about Jameson and Irish whiskey and Christopher's passion for the craft made it memorable. Will go again next time we are here!

Fantastic experience. Hilarious deadpan tour guide kept the education interesting and I have an entire new appreciation of triple distilled whiskey and how to taste it! Amazing Irish coffees available.

The newly refurbished distillery looks great and there is a much larger area for tastings and drinking. The new Maker's Tour is well worth the price of admission. You can also draw your own bottle straight from a cask in the gift shop.

Amazing experience. I'd never had whiskey before this visit but it was so interesting to get to know how its made and see everything behind the scenes. The tasting at the end was so much fun, we got to try the whiskey combined with so many different drinks, it was very good!

Fantastic tour in the newly refurbished centre. The guide we had was witty and informative. The tour was a good length.
Topped off with a tasting session and a daily grog at the end. Well worth a visit!response / report this review
