Still the best spongeware around. Seconds department has good value. Café offers good quality lunch and snacks. Watching the work going on is good fun.
Nicholas Mosse Pottery is a hidden gem. A place not to be missed. Whether you come away with a tiny heart or a large jug you will see artists at work and see an item of Sponge ware pottery being made from wedge of clay to finished article..which is a journey of many skills. All this and a Cafe serving scrumptious homemade food and Cream teas. Delight your senses.
Beautiful pottery hand made world class on site. Great shop. Wonderful cafe upstairs and a beautiful location.
Reminded me of the Mill on the Floss. Got a salad bowl, a jug and a very nice cup of tea with a side order of coffee cake. I'm subtracting one star because I think there could have been more non-seconds items.
The staff at Nicholas Mosse are the real gems. They could not be more helpful. I love visiting for coffee and a browse
Nice place i found the pottery a little dated but the restaurant is worth a visit and its very reasonably priced.
Handmade bespoke pottery.
Best tea and scones around. Lovely jam and cream with gorgeous views
The pottery is beautiful, the surroundings are lovely. The staff are friendly, polite and efficient and the cafe on site has really lovely food. The prices are expensive, but you can pick up some reasonable pieces.
Love going to the Cafe for tea and scones.
Well worth the visit, this place is steeped in history.
