  Stopped in for a quick bite to eat after a visit to the Lighthouse, the food was really nice and massive portions. Very impressed with the staff as well, both friendly and extremely accommodating.

  Nice family atmosphere. We sat on a comfy couch in an alcove because the place was packed on a Bank Holiday Weekend.

  Excellent food. Servings so big it's a struggle to finish the plates. Staff are extremely pleasant and friendly. Ate here over a few days and can't fault the place.

  Not great when they get busy, which is quite often. Spent 5 minutes trying to get a waitress to look at me while she was changing channels on the TV, then was told to wait until she had finished what she was doing. The older bar to the right, which is also owned by Nevilles is very nice, old-style wood bar.

  Dropped by with our dog on the first evening that we spent in a local holiday cottage. So good that we came back daily afterwards.
  
  My only complaint is that the portion of fish and chips was so big that it was tricky to keep it all on the plate!
