I love the unique breads,sandwiches/pitas.and flavours.there cakes are even nicer than my own .
Nice sandwich. The plants upstairs weren't looked after though which is a pity because it makes the place look a little neglected. They could be a bit more vigilant cleaning ash trays and tables- as the table we sat at wasn't cleaned but they were busy then
I've been a loyal customer of this place for the past 20 years. Why? Because of the spelt pitta sandwiches. My favourite, with hummus and all condiments. The almond croissant is divine. I also love the date slices. All quite reasonable for Cork. Plus the staff are nice. One of my weekly treats.
Best sandwiches in cork, they have all what you need to be feed and happy in almost everything time. They do veggie soups which are delicious! Also handmade burritos, pizzas, all kind of sandwiches with their handmade bread (lots of different types) and also a delicious Spanish style coffee (matching with their Spanish manager in Paul street, Alfonso, which is a truly love!!!). They also have several and incredible handmade sweets: my favorite is the apple cake cinnamon and the banana cake! For vegans they have delicious chocolate cookies and two different oat sweet cakes!
Big fan of the date slice and the almond and apricot slice - wheat free, dairy free and sugar free, and so so good.
AMAZING sandwiches and soups that are healthy and taste good. Very hipster and cosy upstair seating. Love it.
Lovely place for lunch. Friendly staff. Good selection for veggie and vegan
Amazing food, carrot cake is to die for and lots of healthy options for lunch

Wasn't too busy at peak lunchtime so it was nice to sit down upstairs. There is also a garden terrace upstairs for extra seating.
The spiced beef pitta I ordered came straight from the deli fridge at the entrance to the shop.
The pitta bread was noticeably chilled and I wasn't given the option of toasting it. The sambo had a bit too much horseradish too which wasn't mentioned in the description and tended to overpower the flavour of the spiced beef.
Would consider returning for desert and coffee which others seemed to be enjoying.
