Nice place to stay just outside Dingle which is a 10.min walk.

In August, my partner and I spent 5 wonderful days in Dingle at the Milltown House. I can't begin to express the beauty of the building, the generosity of the staff, and the overall comfort enough. But I'm going to try! They are the main reason we had such a wonderful time.
Each room is beautifully decorated and incredibly clean. The history of the building itself is interesting to learn about if you're a movie buff (Ryan's Daughter). It's located on the water with a stunning view of the surrounding hills. The breakfast is a real treat with Clonakilty Black and White pudding, homemade scones and soda bread (Deirdre's speciality). You can even sit in on Deirdre's bread making class, followed by a tasting session of course.
The staff are warm and very friendly. They will go out of their way to fill you in on the hot spots of Dingle that might not be on your list of things to do. They organise tips out to great sites such as the Beehive huts, put together bus tours to drive along the Conor Pass and the Slea Head Drive, and out to the Dingle Distillery which is just down the street!
And to top it off, they have two of the friendliest Irish Wolf Hounds you've ever seen. Seamus and Saoirse, the giants of the K9 world, will great you at the door every time! They are perfect around children of any age.
Like I said, I can't recommend this place enough. I'm already planning my next trip back down from where I live in Northern Ireland. The drive is well worth it, and for anyone flying in, you will not be disappointed. I promise. This is a lovely B&B with luxurious rooms and friendly staff. The bed was huge, and the room had a jetted tub! Breakfast was incredible. The town of dingle was just a walk over the bridge away. There is plenty to do there as well. Whether it be hiking, fishing, or taking a boat toe to see Fungie the dolphin. I highly recommend this lovely little place!

Saw this place mentioned in a Rick Steves guidebook and so glad I did! Milltown House is a short walk from town, just around the harbor, and it looks and feels like heaven right there on the water. Marie and Seamus, the resident Irish Wolfhound, were quick to welcome me inside and I felt instantly at home. This charming house is equipped with a cozy bar, sitting rooms, and a lovely sun room overlooking the water. I was shown to a large suite with a super king-sized bed, sofa, table and chair, flat screen TV and a Nespresso machine. Breakfast was included and probably my favorite part. There are hot options available, and Dierdra bakes scones fresh every morning. There's also a variety of fresh fruit, Irish cheeses, yogurt, granola, cereal, and even almond milk which made me very happy. Breakfast is served in the sunroom with a view of the harbor--photos don't do it justice. There's a full bar on site so it's perfect for socializing, especially if you prefer a night in by the fire. Seamus the dog is super mellow and friendly--he even let me take him for a walk through town. If you are looking for an authentic Irish experience and a home away from home, this is it!

I could not ask for a better experience at a bed and breakfast! The staff went above and beyond to help me enjoy everything that Dingle has to offer. The rooms are clean and breakfasts are a traditional Irish meal. If you want to experience the best of Dingle then stay at the Milltown House!

A home from home! One of the nicest places I have ever stayed in! Homely, comfortable, warm rooms. Gorgeous breakfast. It was like visiting friends who just wanted to make sure you had a great stay. We dealt with Deirdre from start until finish and she was brilliant! She Really looked after us and made sure we had enough. Thank you for making our highlight of visit to Dingle Milltown house :)

Nicest guesthouse we've ever stayed in. Owners really friendly, cool dog , a bar and lovely breakfast. Thanks for the the great stay. Would definitely recommend this guesthouse.
