The company was founded by Sean Loughnane a man well established in the craft of perfecting meat. Originally from the west of Ireland, Sean opened two butchers in Galway. The butchers opened in 1975 and became one of the most notorious butchers in the west of Ireland.
Sean Loughnanes prides themselves on creating high quality sausage and pudding. Products are manufactured using a combination of traditional recipes from as far back as the 1930’s and newer tastes to suit the needs and wants of modern taste buds.
