Nice and comfortable hotel in the downtown area. Great breakfast buffet and the adjoining bar had some really good live Irish music. Pub grub was good, hot and quick. Service was quite good at the table.

Nice hotel with great location lovely food in restaurant and also great food in bar.
Hotel has a leisure centre with swimming pool, jacuzzi, steam room, sauna, fitness room. A/C in the rooms. 3bars.response / report this review -

Had a really nice meal here in O Donohue,s bar. Best food u have tasted in a long time. Really efficient service as well. Strongly recommend.

was nice, reception staff very nice and courteous!!! as to parking, there is one across the street, it's E1/hr from 830a-630p free after that, and sundays and the hotel will reimburse you E3/day.
I was a little upset at all the stairs though, at the elevator there is a lift but on my floor I had to carry my bags down 8 steps, down a hallway then 3 more.
Room was great, first and only so far on my trip with air conditioning and a Jacuzzi tub, very relaxing. Breakfast was good and it's local to all the shops.
O'Donoghue had great food but sometimes when you wanted a refill at your seats or to get your check it took a while, I'd give them 3.5 on account of the waiting, friendly atmosphere though.response / report this review -

Great location. No private car park, but they reimburse up to €3 per day for parking and there is a pay and display park right across the street. The pool is nice, but bring a swimming cap or shower cap from your room as it is required when in the pool (but not the steam room or sauna.

Nice and clean rooms! Conveniently located in the heart Killarney city centre. Tons of activities and things to see close by. A short walk from Ireland's largest and most beautiful national park. The first hotel we encountered that had air conditioning in the rooms! Also the only one that provided wash cloths!

Great hotel in the middle of Killarney for an amazing price. We very much enjoyed our stay and the rooms were so spacious! They have a pool (you need a swimming cap), sauna and steam room so take a few extra minutes to yourself and relax. Quick get to Killarney National Park and Torc waterfall. There is free parking in the public car park across the street from 6p-8a other than that you'll have to pay to park in Killarney but it's not too expensive and there are a ton of car parks. In the morning a group of horse drawn carriages wait outside the hotel, we never took one but it looked like fun!

Nice place. A touch of modernity in an old city. Low shower pressure. Comfortable beds. Very nice looking bathrooms with heated mirrors and jacuzzi but like all hotels the toilet paper quality does not match the quality of the room. No light in shower and an opaque shower curtain is a flaw. Could hear the bass music in my 3rd Floor room. Still a positive stay and a nice place.

Entry of the hotel was amazing and new, the pool, bubble tub and steamroom were all top notch. Parking was €3 at a garage 2 blocks away. Rooms were higher quality. The TV didn't work on our room, that was our only problem. I do recommend this hotel for US visitors.

Very nice hotel! Really enjoyed our stay here. Killarney a nice place to visit as well. Comfortable, all the great amenities available. Great laundry service that charges by the bag full, so quite reasonable compared to other places we've stayed.

We stayed here for four nights as part of an organised coach trip. It was great to have something so central so we could go for a walk either before the coach left for the day's exploring or after we returned. The staff were very friendly, the rooms were adequate and clean and ours had a jacuzzi bath in which unfortunately we didn't have time to use. The buffet food was amazing - a great variety for both breakfast and dinner. We used the swimming pool, steam room and sauna two evenings which was an added bonus. It was good to have a bar attached where local music was played each evening but I would have liked to have seen local dancing too! The only thing I didn't like were the hundreds of large jars of food displayed all over the place - what a total waste of food and a health and safety issue I would suspect as they hung over the edges of the shelves! Otherwise I would definitely recommend!
