Very nice pub, we saw the 'Deuces Wild' playing here and danced. A good place to spend an evening with beer and music.

Probably not a traditional Irish pub, being where it is it was 60% full of tourists from all over the world, but we had a great night. Awesome music that night from 'The Kilkennys' and good beer. Crowded (we had to elbow our way in passed people dancing in the front), but we found a spot near the back by the small stage and passed an enjoyable few hours. Suprising for so late in a Sunday night.

To make it short: enjoy the place off season, run away from here from March to Septembre.

I lived 2 years in Ireland so I could experience the 2 sides of this place. During winter, you will find a nice place with respectful security and nice music.
Let summer come though, and you find yourself in front of a bunch of snob bouncers (some would even whisper racist even though I never experienced it myself), the kind you see in any average club over the world.

Don't get me wrong I enjoyed a few nights out here. But giving money to an establishment with such practices made me bitter, if not resentful over time.

Enjoyed my first real Irish Guinness beer at this pub, and I have to say the local vibe made it all the more memorable.
My friends and I spent the entire night here, it was a very safe lively place with a night club area within the building.
The craic was really 90! (If you don't know what this means you need to go to this pub and find out for yourself!)

This was a lovely hotel. Everything looked fresh and new but it was decorated with a very authentic vintage feel. The staff put a rose petal heart on our bed since it was our honeymoon which was a super cute thing to do. Of the 5 hotels I stayed in while in Ireland this had by FAR the most comfortable beds and felt the cleanest. It was the ONLY hotel that I DIDN'T have asthma attacks in. Also had the best breakfast with eggs cooked to order.
