Great tour. Nice way to see the city and find places to visit after. Paul the tour guide was lovely and great with the kids!! My six year old was telling everyone how funny he was. It made what was almost a bad trip up from Cork to visit the castle good after the the grumpy castle tour guide pointed to the sign saying tour all full!
After the road train we went off exploring instead and went to the lovely new museum and cathedral instead. 😁response / report this review -

We arrived in Kilkenny late in the day. We saw the Kilkenny City tour train just outside of the castle. Unfortunately, we didn't have any Euros left for the fare. However, Paul insisted that we jump onboard anyway. The tour was very informative and a nice relaxing way to get a quick overview of Kilkenny's historical sites.

What a great way to see kilkenny. This tour takes in all of the wonderful sights in 30 minutes. My girlfriend and I had a great time. Thanks a lot, would certainly recommend this tour when visiting Kilkenny!

Great way to spend a half hour , armed with ice cream for icecream truck behind the shiny black and amber train we set off on our tour of kilkenny , we got so much information as we went, into the history of this amazing city . our driver IVAN was great and so funny and knew so much about this place so well done and thank you , i really enjoyed your tour and was great value and great fun.

Great way to see the beautiful city of Kilkenny , gives great information into the history of kilkenny , Ivan was great with the group i had so many thanks for that, a fantasic time was had by all , so job well done ivan and thanks and great value .
