My best friend and I hit the road with no map and stopped at this little shop. I think we spent 2 hours just walking around and talking with the owner. If there is anyone who has the true Irish hospitality, he had it! I would recommend this shop to anyone who is looking for wonderful handmade souvenirs and great conversation.

Probably one of the best craft shops in Ireland.

My family was driving through on the way to hike Diamond Hill and stopped to take a picture with the statue. It is really large and appears to be made of stone. It is much too heavy to lift by four people so we did not attempt to purchase it. But with all the strict security at customs it would have been next to impossible to take it on the plane back to the states anyway. Thank you to Joyce's Craftshop for having a really big statue across the road. I am sorry we did not purchase anything else from you but you have a lovely store.

Very upset as when i tried to pay by card the gentleman in the shop asked me had i cash as 20 euro was very little to put on my cardi said i had no cash and he asked if i was surei was annoyed as most places take cards without question these days . The card machine was working so confused as to why it was a big deal..

If you are anywhere near galway and have time you need to visit the Cannamera area. Especially this shop. It has been family run for a few generations now and the people that work there are splendid. If you need help deciding on what type or color wool blanket then come here. I was so indecisive and they helped me narrow it down. The facts I learned about the art of handmaking a wool blanket I tell to people now. Not to mention a show (which I will check out) was recommended for a more indepth look at the art of weaving these blankets. Beautiful views and country side you won't be unhappy.

What a cool shop on the way through the Connemara. Wonderful wools and excellent paintings. Expensive though.

Superbe paysage, vue sur un lac magnifique et statue du géant de Connemara très sympa même si c'est une œuvre du 20 ème siècle. Joycés Craftshop très belle boutique beau choix de souvenir et surtout de lainages, seul bemol, un peu chère.
