False promises and poor customer service.

Needed a quick delivery and chose Jones because of the attractive promise of next day delivery. Ordered at 10am on a Monday, the online tracking reference I was given did not work so I called at start of business Tuesday when I was told it had been despatched and would be with me in the next few hours.

Waited around all day and called again at 4pm only to be told that my order wasn't despatched because the items I ordered have a two-day lead time. There is absolutely no way to know that from the website and clearly this information isn't known by all staff.

I asked to cancel my order at that stage because I had no more use for the items if they weren't going to be there by start of business Wednesday. This was not possible apparently and I was told to just refuse delivery.

To make matters worse the delivery wasn't even delivered to our address so I didn't have the chance to refuse delivery! Absolutely ridiculous from a supplier.

It was then up to me to arrange a return after the items were redirected to the correct address. Trying to arrange the return took weeks, their phone system doesn't put you on hold if the lines are busy, it just hangs up.

I certainly won't be using this company again and would suggest others steer clear. Not worth the hassle.

The staff are very friendly, helpful and always go that extra mile to help their customers, in the past couple of years, I have been in with so many diverse enquiries, printing, school books, art materials, school work & projects. Always I have been met with a friendly smile no matter what the enquiry or for that matter the time of the day. From early morning to late evening the staff have great patience dealing with each and every problem, and every customer. Thanks a million.
