  I went to Joan Cashman Colour & Image Academy for advice and guidance on: hair, make-up and the correct colours to suit my skin tone. As a woman of an 'uncertain' age with silver white hair I was nervous taking this step. Joan couldn't have been kinder or more understanding. I am a low maintenance woman which Joan took into consideration along with my life style and personality when choosing make-up and a hair style to suit me. I am now a 'cool and clear' woman who wears light make-up and has a silver bob. This consultation has helped to reassert my own identity and at this stage in my life the confidence to go forward into the future. Colour and Image are not the prerequisites of the young and the beautiful they are for all women. A consultation with Joan Cashman in her Colour and Image Academy is a very worthwhile investment and a very enjoyable process.

  Lynda Di Blasi - Thank you Joan for your inspirational course. I had been thinking about setting up my own stylist and wardrobe weeding business for such a long time but I didn’t know how to go about it. I knew the demand is there but first I needed a more detailed understanding of body shapes, proportion and scale and the different style of personalities. I knew I needed Joan Cashman’s training. Joan is a legend and a powerhouse of information. Her Style and Image Training course completely blew me away. Now I am equipped with a manual of fantastic content and up to the minute designs, high street options, sustainable shops and everything to suit everybody and where to source those key unusual pieces to adorn any wardrobe. Joan is an excellent teacher and mentor with a lifetime of wisdom that she so freely loves to share. Nothing can beat her experience and hands on one to one training. I now have the confidence to get started and I can’t wait to offer Lynda Di Blasi personal stylist and wardrobe weeding advisor services to everyone. I have worked in retail, maternity retail and finance for sixteen years. Returning to work after leave. I have experienced different stages of my life that fashion and style were a big part of.

  Joan is amazing. I came to Joan looking for a miracle. I was getting married within five and a half weeks and needed a dress and all accessories. Joan was like my fairy godmother and organised everything! One look at me and she knew my style and where to find it, and she did. She was outstanding.
  Joan also gave me a full makeup, colour and style consultation. I left armed with my own swatch palette that fits nicely into my handbag, so now I know exactly what colours and styles suit me best. Overall I had an amazing experience with Joan. She is a fountain of knowledge and is so passionate about style it’s contagious. I couldn’t give Joan a higher recommendation!!

  Joan is excellent at what she does. She is a fountain of knowledge when it comes to colour and style. I had a style consultation with Joan approximately 10 years ago and I can still ask her for advice at any time. She even replies to emails at the weekend!
  I have contacted her numerous times over the years and she has been more than obliging with sharing her incredible knowledge.
  I also attended her weekend make up course and received so much useful information on products, application and colour.
  Overall, I would highly recommend a consultation with Joan. It is one of the most interesting and worthwhile consultations you will ever have and something you will use forever more!

  Wow!! What an amazing experience!!Joan was so kind, so nurturing and so knowledgeable. Not just about timeless classics but she had a huge range of suggestions for me on the high street right now. This range varied from to top end quality to cheap and cheerful and everything in between. She made the tiniest alteration to my hair which completely transformed my look from stressed out Mum to elegantly and effortlessly coiffed lady. I can honestly say she has given me the confidence I always lacked to shop effectively, to make the most of out me. I feel like an upgraded version of myself. And most importantly we giggled and had great fun for the whole consultation. I 100% recommend Joan and her Academy to everyone!!
