It's good to have a local bike shop but it is a lot more expensive for the same things as in town. I regularly pack bikes to go abroad and went here for the first time recently- it was the worst packing job ever and also by far the most expensive. The tape they used took paint of my brand new bike. Go to Bikes or Bikes in Portobello if you can because they are much better. They cable tie everything together rather than duct tape, which doesn't damage the paint.

Great service from the guys in Jimmys Bike Shop as per usual. Dodgy headset sorted out quickly. Service with a smile and a chat. Top notch 👌

I left my bike with two broken spokes at the shop to be repaired 12 days ago. Today I went to collect it. Not repaired. They say that the spokes are of an unusual size and that they could not find the right ones. Fair enough. But in 12 days they didn't bother to call me once to let me know. I had to call them several times and each time they convinced me that they were going to do it... Otherwise I could have taken the bike to more competent hands. The guys are nice enough, truth be told, but this time they have shown a complete lack of professionalism, competence and consideration.

I recently went looking for a TT bike online, after looking for a period of time I found Jimmy's website, I ended up buying a cervelo P2, Jimmy was most helpful and turned out to be the most competitive throughout the country, there was a bike fit and a service included. thanks for a great bike.
