Contacted these guys about 2 weeks ago, filled in a form on my lunchbreak that took me under 5 minutes to complete on their website. Heard back within a few days and received a cheque today. From other reviews I wasn't apprehensive about trying it, it's worth doing - and they don't take a big cut either in my opinion. Appreciate it, thanks!

Scam of a company. They changed my PAYE bank account details to their own bank account without my permission. I will be reporting them to the Revenue.

I received a text message from this company saying on the 26th of march confirming I was owed money, the amount and that because of the Covid-19 pandemic they can lodge the money to an account. I followed all instructions and provided details as request
ed. Since then I have been in contact with the company to inquire where my money is. They have told me that they have put the money in the account and they have done all they can if it was going to go back to them it would of by now have asked for receipts as proof that they have paid it and have had no reply as of yet. Have been to the bank to see if it is pending. I have checked the bank details to make sure I sent it correctly. I totally understand they are working from home and things are going to be slow. But after lossing my job that money would of paid my rent at least. If I could give zero stars I would.response / report this review -

Brilliant work. I've just filled the forms as requested in the website and got my check by post. Best tax agent in Ireland, as a foreigner I was not used to the Irish system but the way you can get your rebates through Irish Tax Rebates makes everything simpler. I usually don't write reviews but these guys deserve it.

Have been a client for over 4 years now and have always had a good working relationship with Irish Tax Rebates, I have always been dealt with in pleasant manner, efficient manner!! Would recommend if like me you're just too busy doing what I do best, Id rather pay someone knowing my tax affairs are going to be up todate and in check, rather then worrying if I cocked it up myself !!

I’ve been lucky enough to get rebates off these guys for many years now ! Always eager to help with very quick response times.
They just review my tax I’ve paid every year without me asking.
I claim my medical expenses on a yearly basis, I just send In the receipts by email and receive a cheque in the post.
Based in Athy in co Kildare, it’s great to know it’s a genuine tax rebate company.response / report this review -

Very bad service and very high rates. I assume they give new customers low rates and then inflate rates 2,3,4 times. Last year they tried to charge me €2.000, then reduced down to €1.000. One year they were so busy or dozy that I had to call the revenue and deal with them myself even though I paid them to do the job. Gerry was dealing with my tax and he called me and asked me to deal with the revenue. I've stopped using their service. Would not recommend their service to anyone.

Be very careful if you use this crowd - they will continue to act as your agents until you request Revenue to cease in writing - this means any claims you do yourself online (like medical expenses) will automatically go to them and they will take commission even though you've done the work yourself.
They can also override any changes you make to your account - their bank account details are entered for payment and you can try to change it back to yours but they can change it back to theirs so any and all payments from revenue will continue to be paid to them until you submit the cease request in writing to revenue.
They won't tell you this if you ring them they will pretend they don't know why you can't change the bank details on your account! Luckily a very helpful lady in Revenue told me today how to sort the problem. Now just need Irish Tax Rebates to give us back the €190 ish they have belonging to us!
Lesson learned - read the small print!
Also, when talking to their so called "customer service manager" (Graham I think he's called) , even when I put it to him that I had been told verbally twice and once via text message by member of his staff that we'd get our full rebate back he still insisted on deducting a "processing fee" for work they didn't even do.
The feedback BrÃd already posted on their page has been deleted and they've blocked her so that should tell you everything you need to know about this lot.
Do yourselves a favour. Save your receipts etc and claim your own rebates. It's surprisingly straight forward and will save you from dealing with jokers like this crowd.response / report this review -

Great service. Applied for my tax back online, took about 2 minutes. Unfortunately I was part of the 25% that didn't get tax back. However very happy with the service all the same. They texted me to let me know after about 2 weeks which was handy. I would recommend, but I think this service is most relevant if you work in an industry where you can claim flat rate expenses or you move jobs or are married etc..

Service is very very poor. For questions you receive the same answer over and over again. "Wait again for 6 weeks" "We haven't process it yet" etc. I strongly advice not to deal with this office.
