We wanted to check out accommodation near one of Ireland’s largest shopping centres Dundrum Shopping Centre and premier destination for their leading brands.

We found a place that was about a ten-minute walk at least up the road. It is a conference centre and Residence. It holds 50 bedrooms in peaceful surroundings in Dublin 14. It has lovely views of the Dublin Mountains or its beautiful 12 acres of lawns.

You are in walking distance to the Luas station that brings you into Dublin City Centre or you can hop the 44A bus right outside the gate. The tranquillity I would have to say was amazing, good for the sole.

We checked in and the staff were friendly, attentive and very helpful. The room wasn’t bad but what I was disappointed in was there was no fridge or safe for your belongings. The view I have to say was stunning, listening to the birds chirping rather than cars constantly whizzing past you.

The bathroom was clean, the room was clean but I noticed some of the cushions had stains on them. The net curtain had some mould on it but once you pushed it to one side the scenery made up for it.

Wifi and television weren’t bad. There were vending machines that if you were peckish you would fill up in no time. Coffee and tea making facilities in your bedroom or on the mezzanine level were free so you could enjoy it there or in your room if you wanted a change.

There was a microwave there if you wanted to make food yourself or you were allowed if you prefer to order out and have it straight to your accommodation. You could if you wanted bring some drinks into your room to accompany your meal.

Some of the building needs a good lick of paint, maybe change a fair few pictures. If you like grey then you will enjoy it. It was like the outside on the inside if the weather was dull. Need more colour, maybe flowers, more cushions etc.

Staff were first class, there was nothing they wouldn’t do to make sure your stay was a happy one. Breakfast in the morning was Continental but it wasn’t bad as it was included in my price but I still think €115 for two people was expensive for what we got. It should have been €80.

One of the best hotel in Dublin. You have everything there. Love this kind of places. Fresh air outside, rooms are so large and with nice design, delicious food for lunch, friendly staff and you can have good rest outside all in green.. Superb really nice place!

Nice clean rooms, double beds, bathroom, with shower but no bath, thermostat heating controls in room, free coffee and tea with kettle supplied, take your own water.

It's the second time I stay in IMI Residence. The rooms are comfortable, well equiped and very beautiful as the whole building. There are lots of green landscapes arround. The bus stop it's at door. I liked it.
