Service is very slow and so is the cleaning.

i gave a very plain wedding dress in for cleaning on 29th July 2017 there was no frills or lace just plain with a train. the document said it would be ready by the end of August. It was not ready then and several phone calls and calling to their branch over September and October they told me its still not ready. Two weeks ago I was told they had lost the ticket off it and they could not identify the dress and they asked me to send a picture of it. i sent them on two photos one of the front and one of the back. They called me later to say they had found the dress and it would be in the branch in cork on Monday after 5:00pm. I phoned them on the following Wednesday morning to tell them I was on my way to collect the dress but was told it had not arrived in the shop. I told them I was on my way and to make sure the dress would be there. they phoned me back after about 1 hour to tell me the was there. By the way I had paid 50 Euro in July when I left the dress for dry cleaning and there was a balance of 30 Euro. When I got to the shop I checked the dress and it was still all stained on the train. I asked for my money back but they refused and told me they could not get in touch with the manager as he was at a funeral. I asked them when would it be possible to talk to him but they said the next day and I should leave the dress. I explained that I was travelling out of the country the following weekend and I could not take the risk of it not being ready by then. I eventually took the dress but was told that the manager would call me the next morning. That was last Wednesday and up to now I haven't hear from him. This is the worst service I have ever had I could not recommend them to anyone.

A traveler from America visiting Cork, I dropped off a pillowcase full of laundry at Impress last Friday afternoon and was told it could not be ready until Monday after 5. I said that would be all right, but made it clear that I had to have it then because I was flying to France Tuesday morning. I was assured that it would be ready and the fee was 15 euro. (Pretty steep!)
I dropped by early on Monday to see if it was ready and the woman in charge couldn't find it. She couldn't get a hold of the launderer. She told me to come back at 5:30, which was quite inconvenient, but I did it. When I got there, I was handed the pillowcase full of clothes and charged only 10 euros, which was fine.
About halfway down the block I looked at the clothes and realized they HAD NOT BEEN LAUNDERED! I had to retrace my steps and was given my money back. At this point I had wasted several trips to this launderette, my time, effort and the possibility of finding another laundry solution for ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! What a completely inept and foolish place this is. Be warned.response / report this review -

€3 for 1 pound of laundry. The laundry was to be picked up after two days. Collection and delivery is not possible.
