We got married in Horetown in Sept 2016 and it was reliving amazing memories at our anniversary that prompted us to finally write a review.
From the moment we set foot in the house, Niamh, Kate, Anne, Tom and all the staff made us feel incredibly welcome and at home.
Unfortunately the weather on the day of the wedding was terrible but, the house felt like the perfect place to be with roaring fires whilst we had our drinks reception. The reception room looked brilliant - Niamh and the staff had put so much effort into decoration and helping with setting up and the white room at the front of the house served as a perfect place to take our photos while it bucketed down outside!
The food was really delicious and service was excellent - people still mention the Wexford Strawberry dessert to us!
The bedrooms are beautiful and full of character and the morning after a 'hangover' kit was delivered straight to our door consisting of bacon butties, chocolate and lucozade! The house was able to accommodate our immediate family and there are plenty of B&Bs and hotels nearby (with bus transfers available).
All in all - I couldn't recommend Horetown enough. We have nothing but amazing memories of our big day. Fantastic service in a beautiful setting.report this review -

I have attended 2 weddings in Horetown and I think it is the most amazing wedding venue. The new garden room is gorgeous. Great food, staff and service. Highly recommended.

Our wedding at Horetown house was quite the debacle. All communication broke down once the money was transferred into their account. The staff were rude, the service and food was shocking. Not only was the food cold but it was completely different to the menu tasting. The seasonal vegetables weren't even the same and it was a week later! The floor plan was done incorrectly and important family members were placed at the back of the room. The kids meals were served on roasting hot plates. To top it off the electricity went and the staff were rude rude rude! The bedrooms were freezing and half the showers didn't work. I can't believe this was my wedding venue! I never want to deal with this joke of a venue again!
