Nice neighborhood and it was only 5 minutes walking from city town. The house was beautiful and the room was clean. The host, John, was extremely friendly and a good cook. You can have Irish breakfast or pancakes (more like crepes) with fresh fruit. It is better than the ones in U.S. Neither could not be wrong. My wife loves the pancakes John made for her and she asked to add a piece of bacon. John had no problem of it at all. I would definitely stay there again if I stop by Westport.

This B&B is absolutely wonderful! Best place we have stayed in 21 days in Europe! John and Mary have excellent hospitality and they do everything they can to make you comfortable. They are always there to answer your questions too. Great location! Their place is a 5 minute walk into town and about a 20 minute walk to the train station. About a 20 minute drive or taxi ride to Croagh Patrick or Bertra Beach. The owners are so friendly and definitely want to make you feel at home. They offered a fantastic breakfast with choices of what to eat. They also have a great little kitchenette to get a snack, tea, coffee, water or even make your own meals with a microwave. Their rooms are spacious and very clean. They have lots of guest lounge areas to sit down outside your guest room (the front room, in the kitchenette and in the garden out back). Great views of Croagh Patrick from the front of the house. They have wifi and a private car park if you need it. I would highly recommend staying here! Worth our pennies and absolutely beautiful stay! Felt right at home and received wonderful sleeps because of that. Quiet and quaint home.

The owner was very friendly and personable. His breakfast was masterfully prepared and delicious. The rooms and bed were clean and comfortable. The location was an easy 10 min walk to town and the pubs. Would definitely stay here again.

Stayed at hazelbrook from the 7th August until the llth. What a wonderful place and wonderful hosts. Everything was perfect,rooms,breakfast and the kitchen was a bonus.When we go back we will stay there again.Thankyou John for everything.I am on my daughters e mail as mine is playing up..Linda,John,Jackie,Julie Brian & Annemariexxxxxx

Ein sehr freundliches, sauberes Haus, gemütlich eingerichtet, ein herzlicher Empfang und ein wunderschöner Garten. Das Frühstück war abwechslungsreich und lecker und wurde singend zubereitet. Wir waren 2 Nächte dort und wären gern länger geblieben.Unser Zimmer war fast noch schöner als auf dem Foto.EinSuper Ausgangaort für Touren nach Connemara o. Achill Island. Falls wir nochmal nach Westport kommen sollten, werden wir wieder im HAZELBROOK übernachten!!!
A very friendly and clean house with a nice interior, a warm welcome and a beatiful garden.The breakfast was great. We stayed for 2 nights. Our room was even more beautiful than in the pictures. Very good place for staying if you want to explore the Connemara or Achill Island. We will stay at Hazelbrook again if we'll ever come back to Westport!response / report this review -
